Refund policy

This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made through https://www.silkshinestudio.website/ (“Website,” “Site,” or “Silk Shine Studio”), operated by MNB ARCHITECTURE, P.A. (“MNB ARCHITECTURE, P.A.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Our products are designed to make travel more organized, recognizable, and protected. Whether a customer is preparing a suitcase for a weekend trip, securing a packed case for a long journey, identifying luggage in a crowded terminal, or adding a protective layer against ordinary travel handling, we want the purchasing experience to be straightforward and dependable.

This Policy establishes the conditions under which eligible products may be returned, replaced, or refunded. Nothing in this Policy is intended to waive or restrict any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable federal or Tennessee law.

1. Products Covered by This Policy

This Policy applies to products offered through Silk Shine Studio, including:

  • Luggage tags;
  • Suitcase packing straps;
  • Luggage protective covers; and
  • Other substantially similar luggage-organization or travel-accessory products that may be offered through the Website.

Because these products may be used with personal luggage and travel belongings, customers should carefully inspect merchandise before use and follow any care, sizing, installation, or handling instructions provided with the product.

2. Standard Return Period

Unless a different return period is expressly stated on the applicable product page, customers may request a return within 30 calendar days after delivery of the merchandise.

The return period begins on the date the carrier records the package as delivered.

A return request submitted after the 30-day period may be declined for ordinary change-of-mind reasons. This limitation does not eliminate remedies that may apply to defective, materially misdescribed, damaged, or otherwise nonconforming merchandise under applicable law.

3. Conditions for Voluntary Returns

For a voluntary return, such as a change of mind, duplicate purchase, incorrect personal preference, or no-longer-needed purchase, merchandise should be:

  • Unused;
  • Clean and free from stains, odors, or other contamination;
  • In substantially its original condition;
  • Free from unreasonable signs of wear;
  • Accompanied by original packaging where reasonably available;
  • Accompanied by labels, accessories, straps, fasteners, or other components supplied with the product;
  • Unmodified and unaltered.

Customers may inspect a product in a reasonable manner before deciding whether to keep it. However, merchandise that has been extensively used for travel may not qualify for a voluntary return because its condition may have materially changed.

4. Luggage Tags

For luggage tags, customers should ensure that the product has not been:

  • Permanently marked;
  • Written on in a manner that cannot be removed;
  • Attached to luggage and used during travel;
  • Cut, modified, or altered;
  • Damaged through installation or removal.

A luggage tag that has been written on, heavily scratched, damaged, or used during a trip may be ineligible for a voluntary return.

5. Suitcase Packing Straps

Packing straps should be inspected for size, appearance, buckle operation, and compatibility before actual travel use.

A packing strap that has been stretched, excessively tightened, exposed to rough handling, damaged by overloading, cut, altered, or used during transportation may not qualify for a change-of-mind return.

Normal inspection of the buckle, strap length, stitching, and general construction is permitted.

6. Luggage Protective Covers

Protective covers should be checked for approximate dimensions and fit before being used for travel.

A cover that has been placed on luggage and transported through airports, train stations, bus terminals, or other travel environments may show dust, scuffing, stretching, or other signs of use and therefore may not qualify for a voluntary return.

Customers should confirm size compatibility before placing the cover into active travel service.

7. Damaged Merchandise

If a product arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide:

  1. Order number;
  2. Product name;
  3. Description of the damage;
  4. Photographs of the merchandise;
  5. Photographs of the outer shipping package where the package appears damaged.

We may request photographs because they can help distinguish shipping damage from damage that occurred after delivery.

Depending on the circumstances, we may provide a replacement, partial refund, full refund, or another appropriate remedy.

8. Incorrect Merchandise

If you receive a product different from what you ordered, please notify us promptly.

For example, please contact us if:

  • A luggage tag was substituted for another product;
  • The wrong packing strap was sent;
  • A luggage cover of the wrong size or model was supplied;
  • The quantity received differs materially from the quantity ordered.

If the fulfillment error is confirmed, we will review the available remedy, which may include replacement or refund of the affected merchandise.

9. Defective or Nonconforming Products

If merchandise has a material manufacturing defect or does not materially conform to the product description provided at the time of purchase, customers should contact us promptly.

Depending upon the circumstances, we may request photographs or other reasonable information necessary to understand the problem.

Nothing in this Policy limits any warranty, statutory remedy, or other right that applicable law requires us to honor.

10. How to Start a Return

Before sending a product back, please contact:

MNB ARCHITECTURE, P.A.
Attn: NATHAN HOSEA ANTOINE HARRIS
3740 BUSINESS DRIVE, SUITE 100
MEMPHIS, TN 38125
United States

Email: [email protected]

Please include:

  • Order number;
  • Name used for the purchase;
  • Product being returned;
  • Date of purchase;
  • Reason for return;
  • Whether the product has been used;
  • Photographs when relevant.

Customers should wait for return instructions when authorization or specific handling directions are required.

11. Return Address

Unless we provide different written instructions for a particular order, the designated return address is:

MNB ARCHITECTURE, P.A.
Attn: NATHAN HOSEA ANTOINE HARRIS
3740 BUSINESS DRIVE, SUITE 100
MEMPHIS, TN 38125
United States

Sending a package to an address other than the designated return address may delay processing.

12. Return Shipping Costs

For an ordinary voluntary return that is not caused by our error or a product defect, the customer may be responsible for the cost of return shipping.

If the return results from an incorrect item, confirmed fulfillment error, material defect, or shipping damage attributable to circumstances for which we are responsible, we will review the matter and determine an appropriate shipping remedy.

13. Original Shipping Charges

Qualifying orders receive free standard shipping under our Shipping Policy. Orders with a merchandise subtotal below $10 are subject to a $5.99 shipping charge.

Where a shipping charge was paid, whether it is refundable will depend on the reason for the return and applicable law.

14. Refund Method

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method.

The date on which a refund becomes visible in a customer's account may depend upon the customer's financial institution, card issuer, payment provider, or other intermediary.

A refund being processed by us does not necessarily mean that the customer's bank will display the funds immediately.

15. Partial Refunds

A partial refund may be appropriate when:

  • Only one item from a multiple-item order is returned;
  • Only part of an order is defective;
  • A product has a limited defect that does not require complete cancellation;
  • The parties agree upon a reasonable adjustment;
  • Another partial remedy is appropriate under applicable circumstances.

16. Non-Returnable Conditions

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, voluntary returns may be declined where merchandise has been:

  • Used extensively;
  • Damaged after delivery;
  • Altered;
  • Cut or modified;
  • Heavily marked;
  • Contaminated;
  • Washed or treated contrary to instructions;
  • Returned without material components;
  • Returned outside the applicable return period.

These restrictions do not prevent customers from seeking remedies for merchandise that was defective, materially misrepresented, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise subject to a legally protected remedy.

17. Lost Return Packages

When a customer is responsible for return shipping, the customer should retain proof of shipment and tracking information.

If a returned package cannot be verified as delivered to us, we may request carrier documentation before processing a refund, subject to applicable law.

18. Order Cancellation Before Shipment

Customers wishing to cancel an order should contact us as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to cancel orders that have not entered fulfillment. However, once an order has been packed or transferred to a carrier, cancellation may no longer be operationally possible.

If cancellation is no longer possible, the customer may use the applicable return procedure after delivery.

19. Delayed Orders

We seek to process and ship orders within the timeframes represented on the Website.

If we discover that an order cannot be shipped within the applicable promised period, we will provide any notices and options required by applicable federal law, including applicable requirements concerning delayed shipment, customer consent, cancellation, and prompt refunds.

20. Fraudulent or Abusive Return Activity

We may investigate unusual or potentially fraudulent return activity, including repeated false damage claims, materially inconsistent return explanations, intentional product damage, payment fraud, or abuse of refund procedures.

Any action taken under this section will remain subject to applicable law and will not be used to eliminate non-waivable consumer rights.

21. Tennessee Consumer Protection

MNB ARCHITECTURE, P.A. intends to conduct its consumer transactions consistently with applicable Tennessee consumer-protection requirements.

The Tennessee Consumer Protection Act identifies unfair or deceptive acts or practices affecting trade or commerce as unlawful and includes prohibitions against misleading representations regarding goods, including their characteristics, uses, benefits, quality, or quantity.

Accordingly, product descriptions, return representations, and customer-facing policies are intended to be applied in a manner consistent with applicable Tennessee law.

22. Policy Changes

We may update this Return and Refund Policy when our product offerings, fulfillment procedures, technology, or legal obligations change.

The version applicable to a particular purchase will generally be the version in effect when the order was placed, except where a later legal requirement must apply.
